Kate was recommended by a friend when we were at our wits end struggling to get our toddler to eat. At first, I was apprehensive as I didn’t want my parenting to be judged or my daughter’s poor diet. However, in the first few minutes, Kate immediately put us both at ease and was empathetic, understanding and made my situation seem totally “normal”.

Kate gave practical advice that we implemented and in time, this really helped improve my daughter’s diet.

Kate came to our home and taught us valuable techniques to help our 1-year-old who was losing weight and not eating well. Kate observed a meal-time and gave advice throughout on things we could try with our little one how to get him to gain weight.

We continue to have the odd session with Kate for weight checks and to check his diet is balanced, but he is now at a healthy weight and doing so much better than we expected.

We wanted a dietitian to help with our son, Harry. Harry has sensory problems and would only eat about 5 different foods at the time when we got in touch with Kate. Kate was thorough in her assessment of his diet and advised on what we needed to do to supplement his diet, so he didn’t miss out on any goodness. She also gave us recommendations on ways to encourage Harry to try new foods.

We still have work to do but I already can see a big difference in Harry’s response and willingness to try new foods.

I am also very reassured now that he is getting all the goodness he needs, despite having a limited variety in his diet.
